make new again

Here is the new look at the wildflower golf course tee markers.  Obviously, these are the yellow tees, but I decided to do one with black and one with white to look at the difference.  Hand painted by yours truly, I think we will go forward with the white border to make sure there is no confusion what the tee marker is designating.

When I painted a black tee marker, you could have confused it with a yellow tee marker with the yellow border around the black tee.

Here are the differences in our ball washers.  The old ones have some paint chips, flaking of the years of paint that have been put on, and now they are back to looking good.

We are all done with snow fence out on the course, and we tried something new to keep some of the snow off of number 1 fairway to see if we can get the course open faster.  That is usually where we have to wait the longest because the snow funnels right down all the way up to the tee box.  We put up snow fence just before the driving range tee to see if we can drop some snow on the tee and keep the wind from blowing it down onto the fairway.

With the final length of snow fence up on three green, we are pretty much done with the outside stuff this year.  My final crew member will be leaving me just after thanksgiving, so ill be once again secluded in the shop and grinding away!

Keep coming back for more details on the winter mionths.
